Cartesian by Formas explores a direct way to develop 3D designs: describe the intention, add references, inspect the result and keep shaping its parts. The public presentation spans product design, interiors, architecture and larger spatial studies.

The aim is an editable model that can be inspected, rather than evaluating the result only as an image. The current public examples include drawings, model imagery and downloadable files so that visitors can examine the work in their own tools.

Inspect the work before joining the preview

Start with the restaurant, lamp or panelized-shell study. Each page explains what the example is for and links to the public downloads, with format and unit information. Compare the representations in your own tools and use the guides to plan the next edit.

The public landing page distinguishes native export capabilities from planned formats. Consult that current status when deciding what to evaluate, and tell the team which file handoff your workflow requires.

At publication, the preview is scheduled to begin on 18 September 2026. Join the waitlist to describe your role and the work you want to make. Preview admission and capabilities may develop as the team reviews requests.
