FORMAS.AI Named Finalist in Trimble 0-60 Challenge 2026

FORMAS.AI, the AI-native design workspace for architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC), was named one of 15 finalists from 9 countries in the Trimble 0-60 Challenge 2026 — partnering with Trimble Inc., owner of SketchUp, one of the world's largest 3D modelling platforms.

The news landed just a week after FORMAS.AI took home the Grand Prize at SuperAI Genesis, capping what co-founder and CEO Yiping Goh called a week that made clear "the momentum is real, and it's humbling."

15 Finalists, 9 Countries

The Trimble 0-60 Challenge 2026 selected FORMAS.AI from a global applicant pool spanning nine countries. For Yiping, being recognised by Trimble — a company that has long shaped how the world designs and builds — was, in her words, a validation of the belief that started FORMAS.AI: that design in the built environment deserved better tools, ones that thought alongside a designer rather than over them.

A Partnership Already in Motion

The fit with Trimble wasn't a leap. A large share of FORMAS.AI's user base already designed in SketchUp day to day, which is what made the selection feel less like a new connection and more like a natural extension of an existing one. Co-founder Carlos Bañón described the moment as connecting with a community FORMAS.AI already belonged to.

From Sketch to BIM, Without Losing Intent

The partnership centered on a shared goal: carrying a design's intention from the first sketch all the way to buildable, BIM-ready outcomes, without losing the designer's agency along the way. For FORMAS.AI, that meant drawing intelligence into every stroke — reimagining how ideas moved through the design process while keeping the designer firmly in control.

FORMAS.AI extended its congratulations to the other 14 finalists selected alongside it, framing the group as part of a broader shift already underway in how the built environment gets designed.
